Certified Supply Planning Professional (CSPP)

CSPP training is designed to help companies improve their supply chain planning process. The course contains practical concepts and actionable best practices that covers the critical areas of the end-to-end supply chain planning based on industry standards. Critical inputs, outputs, metrics and the interplay of cross functional teams for the key supply chain processes will be covered in the two modules.

At the end of the training, participants will be able to identify opportunity areas in their company’s supply chain planning for immediate action and improvement. They will be equipped with knowledge and capability to help further add value, improve cost and manage risks of their company’s supply chain.

CSPP M1: SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNING AND DEMAND MANAGEMENT

Overview:

  • The module covers the most crucial concepts in supply chain management with focus on supply chain planning and how it impact company operations. Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), one of best practices in planning and control, will be discussed in the training together with an in-depth discussion on the basics of demand forecasting. To ensure better appreciation on the forecasting principles, there will be hands-on exercises on how to measure forecast quality and practical forecasting tools.

CSPP M2: ESSENTIALS OF SUPPLY MANAGEMENT AND INVENTORY PLANNING

Overview:

  • The module will cover the fundamental concepts in supply management particularly on master planning and scheduling and its impact to supply chain execution as well as best practices in inventory planning and control. Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE), an emerging best practice, will also be covered. To enhance learning, simulation exercises are integrated in the training.

CERTIFICATION PROCESS

Acquire Knowledge

  • The training may take place in Online Instructor-led Training or Online Training.

Examination or Project

  • Complete a comprehensive exam done in an online system or;
  • Complete and have adjudicated and approved project (For CSPP), which must be complete an improvement project coached by PASIA’s instructors or must be a leader or major contributor of the work.

Certification

  • A professional who passes the certification Online Examination or improvement Project earns the designation of: Certified Supply Planning Professional (CSPP)
  • The CSSP designation is valid for 3 years, after which the professional must apply for recertification.
  • Once you completed all the certifications for CSPP, CSSP and CWLP you are a title holder.

Recertification

  • Retaking the certification Online Examination
  • Presenting a Improvement Project (For CSPP)
  • Attending forty-five (45) Continuing Educational Hours (CEHs)
ELIGIBILITY

A bachelor’s degree with two years of experience ideally practitioners with exposure in supply chain roles.

ACQUIRE KNOWLEDGE

The training may take place in one of two ways;

  1. Public – For public runs, the applicants may check and register on the published schedules at www.pasia.org or send direct emails to info@pasia.org
  2. In-House – Certification modules can be delivered on-site for a minimum class size of 15 persons.
EXAMINATION
  • Professionals who have completed the certification training modules or have completed the online modules and obtain 70% on all the module quizzes may apply the certification via Online Exam.
  • It is a single comprehensive multiple-choice exam done in an online system.
CERTIFICATION

A professional who passes the certification Online Examination or improvement Project earns the designation of Certified Supply Planning Professional (CSPP). The CSPP, designation is valid for 3 years, after which the professional must apply for recertification.

Recertification is required every 3 years and can be earned by:

  • Retaking the certification Online Examination
  • Presenting an Improvement Project
  • Attending forty-five (45) Continuing Educational Hours (CEHs) from learning, training, teaching or coaching Supply chain, Procurement and Logistics or related subjects through recognized organizations.
