Marketing Supply Chain Institute
With more than $1.5 trillion spent on marketing and communications worldwide, there are significant incentives for global enterprises to improve the way they source, manage and align vendors, suppliers and service providers on all levels. A significant percentage of spend is allocated for media insertions, trade shows and events, as well as physical goods such as packaging, documentation, sales collaterals, catalogs, premiums, signage, and channel merchandising materials, which frequently have to produced in large volumes, warehoused and shipped globally contributing to a company’s carbon footprint.
The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Council is looking to drive best practices and thought leadership in marketing supply chain management worldwide by launching the Marketing Supply Chain Institute.  The first initiative of the Marketing Supply Chain Institute is “Define Where to Streamline”, a global survey to benchmark the state of marketing supply chain management practices and analyze the business benefits, productivity gains and risk reductions to be achieved.

Effective negotiation helps you to resolve situations where what you want conflicts with what someone else wants. The aim of win-win negotiation is to find a solution that is acceptable to both parties, and leaves both parties feeling that they’ve won, in some way, after the event. Therefore, negotiation is simply the process we use to determine exactly what we are going to give or receive. Bottom line – those who negotiate well, achieve greater success!
